I have tried several prop firms over seas up and passed just one evaluation up until the MetaQuote regulation that happened not too long ago that forces the firm to no longer accept USA traders for their clients. I got back into Futures and tried Apex, Take Profit Trader, and a few other futures. This here is the most solid. It may be a bit expensive compared to competition but its worth it and don’t let that scare you away. The large daily drawdown help a lot compared to competitions with the same account size. And they use EOD, End of Day Trailing Drawdown, not Intraday Drawdown. Just google or Reddit and you see how quickly anyone can blow a funding account or lose their evaluation with an Intraday Daily Drawdown. The opportunity to go to a LIVE account is a big plus and best of all, withdraw anyday you want to and not wait for 2 weeks like other firms to rack up money from the eval fees to pay you. The 7 days trading seem steep but it really mentalize you to be consistence, it helps you to be a trader and not a gambler. Also considering they are in Chicago USA, there no worries about regulation and not getting paid.

After being with another prop firm that went from good to very bad, I have spent the last few months researching many firms, trying my best to pick the one I think I’d like to stay with for years to come, and one that I think will be around for years to come. My conclusion is that Trade Day is the real deal, unlike a lot of these companies that are “gamified”. The customer service is great. I asked so many questions and they were all patiently answered, mostly by Rosemarie. And more than once, when I asked for clarification, James (one of the founders and CEO) stepped in and answered my questions in more detail. Something important to a lot of traders is the trailing drawdown issue. The intraday drawdown that a lot of firms use is just not reflective of real trading. Trade Day uses an End of Day trailing drawdown, in both the evaluation accounts and the funded accounts. Very nice! Another very nice thing is that they let you keep your first 10k in profits and then 90% after that. All in all, I’m very happy to have found what I feel is a really great company!

TradeDay is one of the best futures prop firms in the industry. I believe that this is the only prop firm among the big ones which offers a live brokerage account right after passing evaluation. TradeDay takes evaluation and funding seriously. In fact, after I passed my evaluation, I had to do a mandatory course on CME rules and regulations before getting my live account. Rules are the same across evaluation and live accounts with respect to drawdown and maximum contracts. Some firms decrease the maximum number of contracts in the live funded account, but not TradeDay which helps traders continue with the same strategies across both accounts. Moreover, TradeDay’s profit targets up to 100k accounts are less compared to most firms making it fair play. I have received payouts (min. withdrawal is $250) in my Rise account within 24-48 hours of withdrawal request which is an additional perk. Customer support is prompt and courteous.FAQ is thorough and frequently updated.They have tons of learning material for novice traders. Their dashboard also has useful content such as audio commentary of the markets, daily / weekly outlook, etc. all of which are invaluable to active traders. If you are SERIOUS about making a living by trading other people’s money, look no further, TradeDay will get you there. If you are learning how to trade, you can choose other firms, but I recommend returning to TradeDay once you are confident. From my experience I would suggest novice traders to reach profit targets slowly with minimal position sizing, and continue with the same pattern after getting live funded. As traders will be trading a live brokerage account, they should risk less to ensure they don’t lose the account.

As a newly funded trader, I am very happy with the amount of educational resources. TradeDay provides an astonishing amount of courses to learn and refresh the skills needed to be successful. I never felt like the evaluation process was setting me up to fail, it was the opposite. TradeDay has been there every step of the way with any help needed to further my success! I’m starting to really wonder if there are any legitimate prop firms. I’ve used a lot of different firms and it seems there is always some rule or BS that works in their favor to not pay out or just outright cancel your account.First off I’d give zero stars if possible. So I passed my eval and I got the Riseworks invite and clicked the link and put in my Riseworks info and “Error blocked by admistrator.” I sent emails back and forth with James the co-founder. His first email and follwing emails treated me like I was a criminal on trial. He said Riseworks said I failed KYC, but I sent him the documents that showed I passed the KYC. So he cancelled my account and said they can’t do business with someone who fails KYC. Absolute Lies. I’ve never failed a KYC with the exchanges or crypto. I have the email that shows I passed the KYC and they did nothing. I made a lot of money on the NQ, they terminated my account saying I traded through Tier 1 data release. Their website said this release “applies to energy traders only” NQ is not an energy trade. Just another prop firm bending the rules to take you out. Don’t waste your money!!!They will come here and say it was my fault somehow. Understand, I did more than ten evaluations with them and never complained before. Who do you think is telling the truth?Edit, they give you a calendar of upcoming news, I had one news it clearly said “applies to energy traders only” Don’t be a sucker, I thought they only let you have one account, they must be legit. Legit companies don’t bend rules or delete data releases from the calendar after the news has released like they claim they did. Seem this slimy language? Furthermore, even though its the trader’s responsibility to know when these Tier 1 events are, we do our best to inform traders of these critical data releases, including a whole page dedicated to these releases, updating our Heads Up alert, providing a downloadable Google calendar with the events pre-loaded, updating our Discord, and emailing traders twice before the release.We tell you, but if we don’t tell you, it’s your fault. In the prop firm industry saying what you’ll do, then doing what you say builds trust. If you take the time to study each firm’s site and rules, as well as research interviews with their founders or owners with an eye towards where you would most trust holding accumulated earnings on deposit in order to scale up position sizing over time, then my own observation is that there are only two, maybe three firms that fully qualify, TradeDay being one. There are so many ways to trick you, to disqualify a payout by changing the rules that attracted you in the first place, or as we saw more recently with FTT, just plain bad actors, that finding a solid prop firm to deal with is critical. Trading is too much work to have to constantly worry about the integrity of firm you’re dealing with. It is unimportant how many accounts you have, TradeDay offering only one account, so long as it’s scaleable, which their one account is, and so long as you can trust they know how to manage the firms’s affairs in order to be around when you need them to be. From where I sit, having done a great deal of research on prop firms, TradeDay and its owners have brought a professional approach to the prop firm industry, and it’s greatly appreciated. They have excellent command of their business, a very solid and useable dashboard, and if you mess up, it won’t be because they tried to fool you, it’ll be because you messed up. If you view trading as your primary business, or seek to, then TradeDay is a good place to be, IMHO.

My experience of TradeDay so far is this…I found day trading a few years ago and got to work on backtesting an idea, I then spent a year demo trading, things were coming together to a degree but I didn’t have the capital, confidence or level of control to trade futures for real money. After learning about prop firms and hearing about TradeDay in particular from a trusted voice I jumped in and signed up to an evaluation. I messed it up, then messed up another, then passed at the third attempt. Very happy with myself at this point I was given a funded account and proceeded to mess that up too. Ouch. My failures being down to lacking discipline and control in executing my trading strategy in a live market. Clear and obvious to me yes but somehow unavoidable nonetheless.I took another evaluation, passed it swiftly and cracked on with my new funded account. It’s going well, very well and I’ve recently withdrawn my first payout. Happy days. TradeDay have given me the platform to trade with skin in the game, the opportunity to test my trading skills under pressure, to highlight the weaknesses in my application and the space to develop control and consistency. The educational resources have been useful but what really matters, to me anyway, is having that platform to trade under pressure, to trade with money at stake. It’s transformed my trading.The TradeDay website is easy to work with and the Tradovate platform has been faultless in executing my orders.I look forward to working with TradeDay going forward.

The Max Drawdown and Profit target on 150k and 250k IS HORRIBLE!!! YOU GIVING US A 250K ACC WITH ONLY 4,500 MAX DRAWDOWN??!! WITH 12K PROFIT GOAL. That’s literally EVERY OTHER PROFIRM 150K Max drawdown and in those, all you have to make is 9K and not 12k. People need to stop looking at the ACC SIZE and Start paying attention on the MAX Drawdown beacuse thats the only thing that matters. BUT if you gonna get an acc from this shirt frim, Dont get an acc above 100k account.

Would highly recommend this prop firm, as an aspiring day trader who has tried countless one’s, no other prop comes close.Their rules are very reasonable, and most of all their payout policy has no constraints.You are even entitled to keep the drawdown threshold once you reach it, if you needed to withdraw 100% balance and close the account, leaving there business they still make you whole with your hard earned money.They are incredible and really do have your best interest as a day trader.Very rare, highly recommend.

If you take the time to study each firm’s site and rules, as well as research interviews with their founders or owners with an eye towards where you would most trust holding accumulated earnings on deposit in order to scale up position sizing over time, then my own observation is that there are only two, maybe three firms that fully qualify, TradeDay being one. There are so many ways to trick you, to disqualify a payout by changing the rules that attracted you in the first place, or as we saw more recently with FTT, just plain bad actors, that finding a solid prop firm to deal with is critical. Trading is too much work to have to constantly worry about the integrity of firm you’re dealing with. It is unimportant how many accounts you have, TradeDay offering only one account, so long as it’s scaleable, which their one account is, and so long as you can trust they know how to manage the firms’s affairs in order to be around when you need them to be. From where I sit, having done a great deal of research on prop firms, TradeDay and its owners have brought a professional approach to the prop firm industry, and it’s greatly appreciated. They have excellent command of their business, a very solid and useable dashboard, and if you mess up, it won’t be because they tried to fool you, it’ll be because you messed up. If you view trading as your primary business, or seek to, then TradeDay is a good place to be, IMHO.

TradeDay is the place to be if you are a prop firm trader. They have friendly rules. $50k account is my favorite and the target is $2500 compared to others which is $3000, they have end of day drawdown, daily payout withdrawal and transfer to live account in a very short time, what more can I say. This is just the place to be. Thank you TradeDay for being the answer to many traders’ problems.

My experience of TradeDay so far is this…I found day trading a few years ago and got to work on backtesting an idea, I then spent a year demo trading, things were coming together to a degree but I didn’t have the capital, confidence or level of control to trade futures for real money. After learning about prop firms and hearing about TradeDay in particular from a trusted voice I jumped in and signed up to an evaluation. I messed it up, then messed up another, then passed at the third attempt. Very happy with myself at this point I was given a funded account and proceeded to mess that up too. Ouch. My failures being down to lacking discipline and control in executing my trading strategy in a live market. Clear and obvious to me yes but somehow unavoidable nonetheless.I took another evaluation, passed it swiftly and cracked on with my new funded account. It’s going well, very well and I’ve recently withdrawn my first payout. Happy days. TradeDay have given me the platform to trade with skin in the game, the opportunity to test my trading skills under pressure, to highlight the weaknesses in my application and the space to develop control and consistency. The educational resources have been useful but what really matters, to me anyway, is having that platform to trade under pressure, to trade with money at stake. It’s transformed my trading.The TradeDay website is easy to work with and the Tradovate platform has been faultless in executing my orders.I look forward to working with TradeDay going forward.

The Max Drawdown and Profit target on 150k and 250k IS HORRIBLE!!! YOU GIVING US A 250K ACC WITH ONLY 4,500 MAX DRAWDOWN??!! WITH 12K PROFIT GOAL. That’s literally EVERY OTHER PROFIRM 150K Max drawdown and in those, all you have to make is 9K and not 12k. People need to stop looking at the ACC SIZE and Start paying attention on the MAX Drawdown beacuse thats the only thing that matters. BUT if you gonna get an acc from this shirt frim, Dont get an acc above 100k account.

Very fast response from team to my email about changing Data .. It is unfortunate that they would not switch my Level 2 data to Level 1 data for free after only trading for 2 days and it was not a big amount but that is their rule.

Would highly recommend this prop firm, as an aspiring day trader who has tried countless one’s, no other prop comes close.Their rules are very reasonable, and most of all their payout policy has no constraints.You are even entitled to keep the drawdown threshold once you reach it, if you needed to withdraw 100% balance and close the account, leaving there business they still make you whole with your hard earned money.They are incredible and really do have your best interest as a day trader.Very rare, highly recommend.
