    Ever since I have been with TopStep I never had any issues with them. My questions, if any, were promptly addressed by TopStep. All in all in my opinion, TopStep has been fair to me. TopStep goes to the extra length to provide all sorts of coaching to its Traders, either in the form of TopStep TV, or online group coaching. I use Discord to find out what other Traders are upto and learn from them. I intend to be with TopStep for a long time to come.

    Topstep used to be the best firm that stood by traders but has been going down hill last 6 months. That platform they push the most that they own is topstepx this platform is constantly laggy, poor fills and glitches all the time and i mean on a weekly bases without fail. they kind of force to use this platform by not allowing a 1 to 10 micro split on any other platform. when their is an issue they will only address it half the time and of that half will only fix part of time. they will know they have issues and then be like “well if you traded during this exact 5 minute window we will correct your account everyone else is out of luck”. i had 5 XFA’s i just activated ($745 in additional fees” blown in the first hour of trading them due to glitch platform wouldn’t let the trade close until it got liquidated. You go on discord and see 100 plus people all complaining about the same thing at the same time. Topstep response? it wasn’t a system noted error so nothing they can do, it must be your connection. yes Topstep 100 plus people all having the same “connection” problem at the same time. They have gotten very greedy and shady as a company.

    I purchased a prop on the wrong platform, I didn’t trade with the prop as written in the instructions and I immediately contacted support, I had to talk to a bot for hours before I was able to open a ticket for a refund (provided for by the policy) or to change platform, once opened I was contacted by a person (shan) who responded to me in Spanish and told me that it was not possible to have a refund or change platform, I tried to have a conversation with him but he never responded to my messages again though was online. Really bad support, but I can’t review the quality of the prop itself because for these reasons I wasn’t even able to use it. ASSISTANCE 0In all this, this mistake was also made by a friend of mine on the same day, and he was refunded the next day without asking any questions…

    The pandemic l limit. I could understand the realised profit or loss below 2000 for a 50000 account. But when market just swings badly you are out. It is only to come back within minutes. This frustrating as you put every effort and you loose the account for nothing.

    I got funded with topstep and while using the topstepx on my phone,i was able to execute trade but was not able to close trade when needed to and this results in me having a large drawdown on my funded.Its a large disappointment as i just got funded paid my activation fees and here it is my account nearly blown due to this issue with mobile app

    Too expensive.For dummy accounts i wish we had some free resets.i had to move few to other fund programs which are 1/3 the prog price with frequent discounts almost 90% discounts multiple times in an year.

    the topstepx platform is easy to use, and was great a few months ago.. Now, last few weeks it has been glitchy. Two days ago, I traded around 8pm eastern time.. I ended the night with $190. When I wake up to trade the next day, those $190 were nowhere to be found. It’s like I never traded. It was hours of trading.. I spoke to someone on the platform, and they said there was nothing they can do because they cannot see the $190 nowhere… Will start looking for other propfirms soon…

    Topstep is an excellent prop firm with a great helpdesk and plenty of options for all types of traders. Personally, I prefer trading without a daily loss limit, as it suits my trading style better. Nevertheless, I’ll continue building accounts here because reliability is essential, and Topstep definitely delivers on that.

    I’m a funded trader with Topstep and since joining up have found their service exceptional. The max daily drawdown limit gives you enough room to trade with confidence. You can trade off 2 platforms, either through their platform or through TradingView connecting through Tradovate which is what I do. The set up and rules are easy to follow and if you have any issues, their customer support is phenomenal. By far, the best prop firm I’ve ever traded with.

    The connection to the data has major latency, phone support is non-existent, resets are crazy expensive, and you don’t get a reset at rebill unless your account is already busted (which makes it sort of pointless). The XFA connection is not instant. However, it is the most trustworthy and simplest payout prop firm out there. They just need to tighten up in a couple of areas. I highly recommend them if you are at the point in your trading that you are a lifer.

    Topstep is hands down the most reliable prop firm in the industry. Just today I had a small issue with my account payment and Amber from their support line got my issues fixed same day. She went above and beyond by helping me with those issues at 3 in the morning! Nobody does it like Topstep 😎

    Not impressed at all. Using TradingVeiw as my “Charts”, and found that TopStep spreads would vary, depending on which way the trade was going. I am trading Futures, (Platinum) and found that the spreads would change from 0.07 all the way to 2.5. It really messed with the profitability of the trade There were several times, that Tradingviews charts were climbing, yet Topstep charts were falling, it made no sense. I would end up operating in the negative, when Tradingview had me on the positive side. It also seems that when a trade is moving, and there are multiple entry points, Topstep “averages” the trades, which really screws with the profitability.
